I Love a Guy...

whose favorite color is purple...

whose last name rhymes with Gerber...

whose name (it can either be first name or surname) starts with a B...

whose first name ends with an n...

who is a very talented guitarist...

who is less than six feet tall...

who has tattoos...

who already has such musical prowess at such a young age...

...and I'm not talking about Justin Bieber, although his traits match all (or almost depending on the way you look at it.) that I have listed above.

I'm actually talking about this guy:

Brian Haner Jr. is the guitarist (along with Zacky Vengeance) for the awesome band Avenged Sevenfold, which I wrote three blog posts about.

30 years ago was an awesome day when this even more awesome guy was brought to the earth. [In reality, it's 30 days YEARS (must have gotten distracted by the picture to the left) and almost one month ago. I should have posted this a month ago as a birthday tribute but oh well, posting this anyway]

So this time, I was able to defend them in front of my family and they don't bother anymore if I listen to their music or reprimand me. I'll just tell them off anyway.

So, here's 30 more pictures of him (besides the one at the left; that's from the Wikipedia article about him) I found and collected as I was browsing my Twitter timeline that's filled with tweets from, of course, the people I follow that are composed of classmates, bands I like, some people I like to make fun of, and especially, fans of the bands I like from as far away as the other half of the world from where I live. Some of these pictures are also from my folders (yep, I do have a computer folder with about 450 pictures dedicated to all my favorite rock stars) and other sites. No gifs because animated pictures will slow down my blog. Late post, I know. I started making this during his birthday but I had too much homework that day and my mom is pressuring me to sleep early. Stupid curfews.

1. I found this picture in this deviantArt account: LauriLover666

This is a classic example of the fact that truly good-looking guys can look good in any haircut, even if it's the dorky prescribed haircut rule that is being strictly imposed in the school I go to. So no Billie Joe Armstrong (21 Guns music video) hair. M. Shadows (A7x singer) also looks good in a clean cut.

2. Link to picture
This is how he looks like when he started rocking. I think he kinda looks like Johnny Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls in the Iris music video.

Ok, not a picture of Synyster, but this is Johnny Rzeznik. See any resemblance to the picture above?

3. From facebook. I don't log in to facebook much anymore, so just look for this in the fan page 'Real Men Wear Eyeliner'
This picture is one of my personal favorites. I found this from a facebook group that pays tribute to guyliner. I think he kind of has a resemblance to Brent Smith of Shinedown in this picture. Not to mention also, Syn has HUGE biceps.

4. Link to picture (warning: site has excessive animation)

Hmm... what can I say? Nice... guitar. I want it! It's also the one pictured in the very first picture (the wikipedia one). And I like the color maroon.

5. Link to picture
Look at the first picture and compare that to this.
Schoolboy: just add eyeliner, a goatee, and tattoos.

6. Found this on a facebook group about St. Jimmy (the character in the Green Day album American Idiot)
Yep, he does look like St. Jimmy. This was actually during an interview backstage with some other guy who is also name Brian. Watch the interview here.

This is St. Jimmy. See any resemblance?
7. I have no idea how he does it, but he looks pretty darn good with a cigarette.

8. The blonde is the lucky girl, Michelle DiBenedetto, twin sister of Valary DiBenedetto, M Shadows's wife. Cheers!

9. Awesome wallpaper that someone made, but I could no longer retrace the source of this picture. This has been in my folder for quite some time.

10. This is the background of @yhellow01's twitter account during the time I saved this picture in my folder. Yhellow, from the Philippines, is an awesome fan of the band A7x.
11. This is actually a picture with Arin Ilejay, the new drummer, but Syn is still in the picture, so... still posting this. By the way, Arin is actually pretty darn good a drummer but Jimmy is still a legend.
12. He's the only one who isn't in black in this picture.
13. This somewhat resembles picture 2, but only he has become better-looking with age.

14. Aww... bromance! :)
15. Stunned? So am I... by the looks of you.
16. I got your back. (I wish.)
17. Body-hugging v-neck tees would usually make a guy look like a narcissistic guido douchebag escaped from Jersey Shore, but I have no idea how Syn makes them look so good.
18. There's something going on between them. I'm sure of that. More bromance.
19. I'm speechless.
20. I know I already posted this in one of my previous blog posts but still... This is a still from the music video of Beast and the Harlot.
21. Another music video still, this time from Nightmare. It's not like this picture will actually give me nightmares.
22. When you smile, I smile. I can't believe I'm actually quoting a Justin Bieber song, but that's the best statement that applies to this picture.
23. He has better legs than I do...
24. Another great picture of him with white smoke in the background.
25. The look on his face is gold man, gold! (picture with bassist Johnny Christ)
26. Another picture of him with the band. (L to R: Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ, M. Shadows). Did you notice too that there are 5 shadows and not 4? The 5th one is supposed to be for The Rev. RIP Jimmy.
27. I must say, Syn looks pretty tanned in this picture.

28. More Synacky!
29. He's watching you...
30. I don't get it either. Wait. Actually, I do. M Shadows and Synyster Gates both have great smiles.

That's all for now, folks! I hope you enjoyed my very late post on a 30-picture gallery of Synyster Gates, one of this generation's most talented and hottest metal, classical, and jazz guitarists in the midst of the rise of pop and hip-hop. The spirit of rock (and metal) should remain alive foREVer! Next up (hopefully): an M Shadows 30-picture belated birthday tribute!
